This month, we are collaborating with the Flash Ensemble for a figure drawing workshop as part of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Inclusive Arts Project. This event invites audiences to explore their perceptions of sound, visuals, and the environment through the interplay of music and sketching. As you enjoy the live orchestra by Flash Ensemble, try to capture the motion and passion of the musicians and instruments on your paper! **Performance Pieces:** 1. Can Can and Pomp 2. Waltz of The Flowers Date: February 22, 2024 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Location: JCCAC, L1, Central Courtyard Fee: 220 HKD - Paper, pen, pencil and watercolour is provided. - Feel free to bring your own materials. ### Flash Ensemble The Flash Ensemble began its journey in 2012 as part of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Inclusive Arts Project. Named "Flash," the ensemble aims to ignite the belief in inclusivity through the brilliance of music. Composed of individuals with diverse abilities who excel in different instruments, the ensemble shares their love for music with the audience through unique compositions, using music as a means of communication and demonstrating their growth. ### A Bit More than Arts Festival The flagship annual art festival of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Community Project Grant - Inclusive Arts Project returns from February 15 to 24, 2025, at the Hong Kong Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre. With the theme "Things Around Us," this year’s festival features artworks and learning outcomes from project participants, along with their observations and feelings about our city.
